Dr. Thomas’ medical journey was initiated with an MBBS degree from St John's Medical College, Bangalore, in 1974. His training in psychiatry began in 1983 when he graduated with an MD from Bangalore's National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS). Additionally, he has earned a DPM from NIMHANS in 1979 and an MNAMS from the National Academy of Mental Science in 1982.His distinguished career began as a Department of Psychiatry Tutor at St. John's Medical College, and he later rose to the position of Senior Consultant in Psychiatry at Manipal Hospital and Mallya Hospital Bengaluru.
