Ms. Asha Nayak earned her BPT from Bombay University, her MPT in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Lactation Counselor (IYCF) certifications (IBCLC).She has been employed as a certified lactation counselor with the Breastfeeding Network of India for the past 11 years. She focuses on issues relating to women's health from adolescence through old age. She has helped moms with proper placement and latching, provided advice on the benefits of breastfeeding, helped with the expression and storage of breast milk, dealt with engorgement issues, and showed the use of breast pumps and milk expression. She has led regular classes for nurses on lactation and breastfeeding, and she actively takes part in campaigns for incontinence and women's health issues. She has organized marketing campaigns for Mother's Day and Women's Day.
