Centre for the Rehabilitation of the CRP–Mirpur located at Mirpur, Section-14 commenced its operational activities having the same goals and ideals of CRP.

CRP–Mirpur is an accessible 13-storied building for persons with and without disabilities. It has a ramp up tothe fifth floor and three lifts – a rarity in Bangladesh. Moreover, CRP–Mirpur itself occupies six floors to provide medical, therapeutic and diagnostic services.

A highly experienced inter-disciplinary team comprising of a Medical Officer, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech & Language Therapist provides these services to the patients. Moreover, a distinct advantage of the out-patient unit is that each of its units are enriched in their own way. Professional counselling is a recent addition to make the services more comprehensive.

The Mirpur centre has a 44-bed Stroke Rehabilitation in-patient Unit (SRU) for adults including 16 private rooms. Paediatric Department admits 11 children each fortnight with neurological disordersas inpatients, most commonly Cerebral Palsy.

Domiciliary (home-based) service is a unique service offered within the capital city to provide therapeutic services to patients intheir homes who are unable to make a trip to CRP–Mirpur for their treatment. Furthermore, the centre offers a special service known as Extra Time Service (ETS) to patients from 5.00 pm to 8.30 pm (after working hours).In 2020-2021, a total of 22,100 patients received treatment from CRP-Mirpur outpatients.

Despite the clinical services, CRP–Mirpur has a multipurpose conference hall. The facility is also rented out to interested organisations for holding seminars, symposiums and workshops, which also assists in the financial sustainability

of the organisation. The conference hall can accommodate up to 150 persons along with a well-maintained cafeteria adjacent to the conference room with the aim of providing healthy meals at an affordable price. There is also a day care centre for the children of staff.
