Dr. Umakantha Adiga completed his medical graduation from prestigious Bangalore Medical College. Afterwards, he attended MGM Medical College in Indore to complete his diploma in child health (DCH). Under the direction of Professor Dr. D G Benakappa, he earned his diploma in pediatrics from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health in Bangalore. General pediatrics, growth and development, and immunization are his areas of expertise. He participates actively in the Bangalore Pediatric Society and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. M G Umakantha Adiga has earlier worked in Apollo Hospitals, Indira Gandhi Institute of child Health and has clinical fellowship in Pediatrics from Rotherham General Hospital & Colchester General Hospital, UK.
