Oncologist (Cancer)

Dr. Swaroop has more than 12 years of expertise treating cancer patients, and during that time, he has treated more than 10,000 patients with a variety of diagnoses using a variety of approaches, including traditional chemotherapy, hormone therapy, biological therapies, immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and high precision radiation therapy. He has extensive experience in cancer research, teaching, and administration in addition to patient treatment.He earned his MBBS in 2006 from the esteemed Bangalore Medical College. From the Regional Cancer Centre in Shimla, he went on to pursue his post-graduate training in radiation therapy and clinical oncology.

After brief stints at the St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London and the HCG Cancer Hospitals in Bangalore (where he gained experience in clinical oncology and stereotactic radiation therapy), he went on to successfully establish brachytherapy and chemotherapy facilities at the State Cancer Institute of Uttarakhand.

Being an oncological polymath, he has strong backgrounds in cancer biology as well as skills in medical oncology, radiation oncology, and hematological oncology.
