Dr. Thummala Kamala received her elementary training in medicine with an MBBS degree from the Kurnool Medical College, Andhra Pradesh in 1971. After receiving her FADM from the Samatvam Institute of Medical Science in Bengaluru in 2005, she went on to specialize in endocrinology. The Public Health Foundation of India, New Delhi, awarded her the FACE certification later, in 2010. Dr. Thummala Kamala held positions at the Jnana Sanjeevini Medical Center as a consultant and faculty member in the fields of diabetes, endocrinology, and medicine, as well as an associate of honorary consultant (Dr. S. S. Srikanta) in the fields of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She also served as a co-investigator for clinical research.

Endocrinology
