Dr. Roopa R Nadig earned her credentials in BDS at Government Dental College, Bengaluru in the year 1978. In 1990, she earned her postgraduate degree in MDS from the same college.She worked at the Government Dental College in Bangalore in a variety of positions before voluntarily retiring from the government of Karnataka in 2000 as Professor of Conservative Dentistry. From 2000 to 2003, she served as a professor and head of department, principal at the Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences and Post Graduates Research Center in Bengaluru and as a professor and head of department, director of postgraduate studies at the Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Science in Bengaluru.
